Activ Doctors Online Founder and CEO Monssoh Recognized by ICABA Honors
Program honors most accomplished executives, professionals and academicians in South Florida
(Miami, FL) – Florent Monssoh, Founder and CEO of Activ Doctors Online, was recently recognized by ICABA Honors as one of South Florida’s most accomplished executives. Monssoh received the award at a ceremony held earlier this month, and is also featured in the ICABA Honors Magazine, which recognizes black professionals and entrepreneurs who make an empowering difference in the community.
ICABA Honors showcased Monssoh for his vision in creating Activ Doctors Online, the first company to combine Personal Health Records (PHR) and online second medical opinions in one service. “My vision was to be able to give second opinions to anyone, anywhere, and to empower people to save time, money and lives by using Personal Health Records,” said Monssoh. He also expressed the importance of getting people to take control of their own healthcare. “I want you to be active in your health, active in choosing your diet, active in educating your children,” he said.

Monssoh has over 25 years of entrepreneurial success in engineering, IT and healthcare. Educated in France, he has founded several companies including consulting and technology firms, including France’s first internet service provider, SkyWorld, which he sold to Cegetel and was later acquired by AOL. The software program created by one of his companies has been used by the Pentagon, French Department of Revenue and Tax, and Australian Telecom. He is the first French African to have founded a company to go public on the European Stock Exchange, and founded the first medical interim company in French history to employ doctors.
